What type of qualification is this?
This course is delivered as a VTQ – Vocational Training Qualification. A VTQ is a practical, skills-based course designed to give learners useful knowledge and confidence in a specific subject area.
This is not an RQF qualification. An RQF qualification is a regulated qualification that sits on the Regulated Qualifications Framework and is usually awarded by an Ofqual-recognised awarding organisation.
In simple terms, a VTQ is ideal for practical learning, confidence building and continuing professional development, while an RQF qualification may be required where a workplace, employer or regulator specifically asks for an Ofqual-regulated qualification.
If you are unsure which type of course you need, please contact us before booking and we will be happy to advise.
