Qualification Information

This course is delivered as a VTQ – Vocational Training Qualification. A VTQ is a practical, skills-based qualification designed to help learners build useful knowledge, confidence and competence in a specific subject area.

This is not an RQF qualification. An RQF qualification sits on the Regulated Qualifications Framework and is usually awarded by an Ofqual-recognised awarding organisation.

In simple terms, a VTQ is focused on practical workplace learning and vocational skills, while an RQF qualification may be required where an employer, workplace or regulator specifically asks for an Ofqual-regulated qualification.

If you are unsure which type of qualification you require, please contact us before booking and we will be happy to advise.
